is a emergency plumbing job where TRM Plumbing was called out by a major commercial property owner who was faced with having the whole complex shut down with no GAS by the Southern California Gas Company. Even though TRM Plumbers are base in a Los Angeles, our Santa Monica Plumbing Customer called on our expertise for their Santa Monica Pluming needs. The complex is comprised of a major Religious Institutution, a series of offices, and a boxing gym and a famous coffee house. TRM Plumbers arrived on the job and within a couple of hours had by passed the leaking gas pipe and gave the entire complex their gas back temporarily while TRM Plumbers worked together with the owners manager to determine the most cost effective and visually acceptable placement of the new gas plumbing lines. As you can see by the photograph of these new gas pipes TRM Plumbing determined that for Santa Monica Plumbing conditions the best piping application was to utilize galvanized gas piping Schedule 40. TRM Plumbers made the determination to use galvanized pipe rahter than Black Steel Pipe due to the Galvanized Piping being resistive to the salt content and will last for many years to come. Santa Monica Plumbing has specific requirements as do other municipalities that require adhering to their guidelines with regards to aesthetics. As licensed and insured Plumbing Contractors, TRM Plumbing Contractors pride themselves with working very closely with the various Department of Building and Safety Plumbing Divisions to determine prior to starting the Plumbing Project. This avoids costly and unnecessary redoing of plumbing installations.
